A rocky start but cozy stay

The bed was surprisingly comfortable, allowing us to unwind after our long journey. The friendly staff greeted us with warmth, turning our frowns into smiles, despite an initial hiccup. The quiet atmosphere was refreshing, providing a much-needed getaway vibe.

The check-in process was frustrating. With keys malfunctioning, it took multiple trips to the reception just to access our room. the outdated decor and cleanliness in the bathrooms left much to be desired, casting a shadow over our overall experience.

Consider requesting a room away from the elevator to ensure a quieter stay, as noise can be an issue.

the standard twin room was basically suffocating with noise from the vent, and i can’t believe the smelly stains on the chair. i mean, where was my complimentary chocolate on arrival? i expected at least that, since i’m not just a regular guest. breakfast? good luck with that, the options were just plain sad.

Air conditioning was effective, but bathroom cleanliness was quite poor upon arrival.

Room was comfy with a lekker bed, and the staff were super friendly, making us feel right at home. The brekkie was a solid spread at the cafe, with everything we needed to start the day off sweet.

Bathroom was a bit old school and could do with a revamp, but it was clean enough.

The location was convenient for family activities, with lots of outdoor options like go-karting and dolphin watching just around the corner. We loved exploring the nearby parks and beaches. Our stay was comfortable, and we found great local cafes nearby, too.

My kids wished the pool was open during our stay.

The external shopping center right across the street was super handy, and the pool was a nice chill-out spot at the end of the day.
